Your podcast deserves a room that listens back

We run a recording studio in Causeway Bay built for voice. Two acoustically treated rooms, a mixing desk that has seen a few thousand episodes, and engineers who care about mouth clicks as much as you do.

What we do

Four ways we keep your show sounding sharp

Studio recording

Our two rooms seat up to four guests each. Rode NT1-A microphones, a Focusrite Clarett interface, and headphone mixes so everyone hears themselves clearly. Sessions run in 90-minute blocks. You show up, talk, and leave with a multi-track WAV file within 24 hours.

Audio editing

We remove ums, long pauses, mic bumps, and background hum. Each episode gets a noise floor check, EQ pass, and compression to keep volume consistent. Turnaround is 48 hours for episodes under 60 minutes. Longer episodes take an extra day.

Mixing and mastering

Intro music, sponsor reads, mid-roll ads, sound effects: we layer them into a single stereo file mastered to -16 LUFS for Spotify and -19 LUFS for Apple Podcasts. Loudness standards matter because platforms will penalise your show if the levels are off.

Distribution and analytics

We push your RSS feed to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Pocket Casts. You get a monthly report showing downloads by episode, listener geography, and retention curves so you know exactly where people stop listening.

How a typical episode comes together

From brief to published in five working days

Pre-production call

We spend 20 minutes on a video call to outline talking points, guest logistics, and any sponsor copy that needs to be recorded. You send us your notes or outline beforehand so we can prepare the session sheet.

Recording day

Arrive at the studio 10 minutes early. Our engineer handles mic levels, monitors the recording, and flags any technical issues in real time. Remote guests join via a dedicated Cleanfeed link that records their audio locally for higher quality.

Edit and mix

Within 48 hours you receive a rough cut. You can request up to two rounds of revision at no extra charge. Once approved, we master the final file and generate chapter markers if your host supports them.

Publish

We schedule the episode in your hosting platform, write show notes with timestamps, and draft a social media snippet you can copy-paste. The episode goes live on the date you choose.

Recent work from the studio

A few podcast episodes we helped produce this quarter

Host recording a finance podcast episode

Money talk with Fiona Lau, ep. 34

A deep conversation about Hong Kong property investment myths. Recorded in Studio A, mixed with light background music under the intro.

Two hosts recording a comedy podcast

Off-script comedy hour, ep. 112

Two hosts, no script, 55 minutes of improvised comedy. Edited down from 80 minutes of raw audio. We cut the dead air without losing the timing of the jokes.

Mixing console during a podcast mastering session

The wellness frequency, ep. 8

A meditation podcast that required careful handling of ambient sound beds. We mixed binaural audio for headphone listeners and a standard stereo version for speakers.

Questions we hear often

If yours is not listed, send us a message below

How much does a single recording session cost?

A 90-minute session in either studio is HK$1,800. That includes engineer time, mic setup, and a multi-track WAV export delivered within 24 hours. Editing and mixing are billed separately.

Can I bring my own microphone?

Yes. We have XLR patch points on the desk. If you bring a USB mic we can still use it, but the audio quality will be limited by the mic's built-in converter rather than our Focusrite interface.

Do you help with podcast artwork and branding?

We partner with a local graphic designer who creates podcast cover art at a flat rate. We handle the technical specs: 3000 x 3000 px, RGB, JPEG under 512 KB, which is what Apple requires.

What if my guest is overseas?

We set up a Cleanfeed or Riverside session. The remote guest records locally on their end, which avoids the compression artefacts of a Zoom call. We sync the tracks in post.

How long before I should book?

Three to five working days is usually enough. Weekends fill up faster, so try to book those a week ahead. Same-day availability happens occasionally on weekday mornings.

Do you offer monthly retainer packages?

Yes. A four-episode monthly package includes recording, editing, mixing, and distribution for HK$6,400. That saves about 12% compared to booking each service individually. We also have an eight-episode tier for shows that publish twice a week.
